Although unemployed for nearly sixteen years, Angela (49) has gained a qualification and permanent employment as a result of her determination to succeed under Hull College's Workstep programme.

Workstep, delivered in association with Jobcentre Plus and local employers, gives people who have disabilities the support they may need to find and sustain permanent employment.

“I'm working within the catering department at the Goodwin Centre. It's wonderful to have been given this opportunity to prove myself and develop my skills further.”
