Scholars Gym Class Descriptions

Studio Cycling

A challenging cardiovascular work out using pulse studio cycles. Excellent for fat burning and upper body conditioning. Basic moves with little choreography.

Tae Box

Martial Arts to music, using punching kicking techniques, a none contact activity. Suitable for all fitness levels with basic moves and simple choreography.

Legs, Bums and Tums

Muscle Toning and shaping for the lower body using low impact moves and body conditioning exercises. Suitable for all levels of fitness with simple easy to follow movements.

Step-Tone-Cycle

A combination of cardiovascular exercise using Rebook Step, Pulse Studio Cycles and body conditioning exercises. Movements are easy to follow with interesting combinations to keep you motivated.

Abs Blast

Abdominal conditioning class designed to improve the stability of the postural muscles. Individuals are encouraged to work at their own level of fitness, no choreography.

Body in Balance

Incorporating exercise with the Flexi-bar, this class combines Mobility and Core Stability exercises that aim to improve posture and Flexibility and breathing techniques that aim to and promote relaxation.

High/Low Aerobics

A good fat burning class in which you will be encouraged to work to your own intensity by opting for high or low impact aerobic movements. Choreography has some interesting combinations and some direction changes. Muscle tone and stretching exercises are included to ensure a balance work out.

Circuit Training

An energetic work out using different types of circuit. Good for fat burning and muscle toning without complicated choreography.

Total Tone Up

Muscle toning and shaping for the whole body using low impact moves and body conditioning exercises. Suitable for all levels of fitness with simple easy to follow movements.
